Thomas Elliot

Founder & President

Thomas grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and obtained an Honours BA from the University of Toronto in 2005 before earning his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2010.

Thomas was admitted to the New York bar in January 2011, after which he began passionately fighting for the rights of injured people at a top-tier medical malpractice firm. After admission to the Ontario bar in 2013, Thomas practiced at a major downtown Toronto litigation firm representing large institutional clients until January 2020, when his desire to help people resulted in his decision to create Elliot Law.

In his spare time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His interests include astronomy, scuba diving, sports, exercising, and exploring new restaurants around the city.
